Professor Neil Greenberg MD FRCPsych is a clinical and academic psychiatrist at King’s College London specialising in occupational and forensic psychiatry and psychological trauma, with 23 years’ service in the UK Armed Forces and deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq.
Education & training: Military and academic psychiatric training culminating in specialist accreditation and a career at King’s, with roles advising government, NHS organisations and industry on workforce mental health.
Clinical interests: Prevention and management of work-related mental ill-health, PTSD and moral injury, and trauma-informed systems for high-risk occupations, including peer-delivered support models.
Research, teaching & leadership: Co-developer and evaluator of Trauma Risk Management (TRiM), lead/co-author on the 2023 World Psychiatric Association position statement on mental health at work, past President of the UK Psychological Trauma Society and senior faculty across national programmes.
Service & systems: Advises large organisations on psychologically safe workplaces, critical-incident responses and staff wellbeing governance, with implementation through training, audit and outcomes tracking.
