Mr Shafi Wardak MBBS BMedSci MSc FRCS(Urol) is a Consultant Urological Surgeon and Andrologist with a subspecialist practice in male incontinence, male infertility and genital reconstruction, consulting in London and the Thames Valley.

Education & training: Graduated from University College London, earned a Master’s in Surgical Technology (Imperial College London) and completed a senior fellowship at the Institute of Andrology (UCLH) in male-fertility and reconstructive surgery before consultant practice.

Clinical interests: Post-prostatectomy stress incontinence (artificial urinary sphincter and male-sling surgery), erectile dysfunction including penile prosthesis, Peyronie’s disease, male infertility (microsurgical sperm retrieval) and general urology.

Research, teaching & leadership: Regular faculty at national meetings and contributor to service-improvement workstreams in andrology and incontinence surgery.

Service & systems: Delivers one-stop assessment with urodynamics and endoscopy, shared decision-making for AUS vs sling and structured outcome tracking within specialist andrology pathways.

Selected publications & contributions: Clinical education on male-incontinence operations and prosthetic urology with patient-facing resources on recovery and complication prevention.
