Dr Anant Krishnan BSc MBBS MRCS PhD FRCR is a consultant neuroradiologist with extensive experience across the NHS and independent sectors, providing subspecialist spinal and neurological imaging at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and Barts Health.

Education & training: Core surgical training (MRCS) followed by doctoral research and FRCR in clinical radiology, consolidating expertise in advanced MRI and CT for neuro-oncology and complex spine.

Clinical interests: Spinal MRI and CT for degenerative, neoplastic and post-operative states, brain tumour imaging, neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration with quantitative and susceptibility-based techniques.

Research, teaching & leadership: Author on susceptibility-weighted MRI, cerebral microbleeds and glioblastoma imaging, with ongoing education for orthopaedic, neurosurgical and neurology teams.

Service & systems: Runs protocolised spine and brain imaging pathways with MDT integration, advanced post-processing and structured reporting to support surgical planning and follow-up.

Selected publications & contributions: Peer-reviewed articles and chapters on SWI, dural masses and glioma imaging, and collaborative service-improvement projects across London neuroscience centres.
