Education & training: MBBS from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School with postgraduate training in general medicine, anaesthesia and intensive care in London and a year as Assistant Professor in Intensive Care Medicine at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong.

Leadership: Clinical Business Unit Lead for Surgery and In-patients and Critical Care Clinical Lead at The Royal Marsden, and past Chair within the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine for professional development and training.

Clinical interests: Peri-operative optimisation for major oncological surgery, breast surgical pathways, pre-assessment and education-driven quality improvement in ICU.

Service & systems: Designs consultant-led, protocolised critical-care services with simulation and competency-based education, and fellowship programmes in leadership and management.
