Consultant in obstetrics & gynaecology at UCLH women’s health service.

Dr Naaila Aslam MD MRCOG is a full-time Consultant Gynaecologist at University College London Hospitals with principal expertise in early pregnancy care, gynaecology ultrasound and minimally invasive surgery.

Education & training: Comprehensive UK specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology with focused development in early pregnancy and advanced ultrasound, appointed consultant at UCLH with practice in the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Wing.

Clinical interests: Early pregnancy assessment and management, transvaginal and transabdominal ultrasound, benign gynaecology including endometrial and ovarian pathology, and laparoscopic hysteroscopic surgery.

Research, teaching & leadership: Ongoing contributions to quality assurance in ultrasound and early pregnancy pathways, registrar teaching and patient-information resources.

Service & systems: Designs one-stop early pregnancy and benign gynaecology clinics integrating ultrasound, investigation and same-day decision-making with safety-net follow-up.

Selected publications & contributions: Educational outputs on ultrasound-led care and early pregnancy decision pathways, with service-evaluation work at UCLH.
