Mr James Allibone is Lead Spinal Surgeon at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, University College London Hospitals, managing complex primary and revisional spinal cases within a high-volume tertiary unit.
Education & training: MBBS BSc(Hons) from The London Hospital Medical College (1989), general surgical training at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, and neurosurgical training in North London centred at Queen Square, followed by consultant posts at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and subsequently NHNN.
Clinical interests: Degenerative cervical, thoracic and lumbar disease, spinal tumours and revision/deformity reconstruction, with minimally invasive, motion-preserving and complex instrumentation techniques.
