Consultant breast radiologist specialising in mammography, MRI and biopsy services.

Dr Triet Hoang MBBS FRCR is a consultant radiologist with a special interest in breast imaging, working in the symptomatic breast service at the Royal Free London and in the NHS Breast Screening Programme (North London Breast Screening Unit), alongside independent practice at Cromwell Hospital and OneWelbeck.

Education & training: UK-trained radiologist appointed consultant in 2008, with advanced development in mammography, breast ultrasound and stereotactic and vacuum-assisted biopsy techniques.

Clinical interests: Symptomatic and screening breast assessment, tomosynthesis, contrast-enhanced mammography, targeted and stereotactic core biopsy, localisation and imaging follow-up after surgery and oncology.

Research, teaching & leadership: Faculty for breast-imaging education and contributor to screening-programme quality assurance and service audit.

Service & systems: Runs protocolised triple-assessment clinics with same-day decision-making, adherence to national screening standards and robust safety-netting and outcomes tracking.
