Dr Harvinder Chahal BMedSci MBBS FRCP PhD is a Consultant in Endocrinology, Diabetes, Bariatric Medicine and General Internal Medicine at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London.

Education & training: Qualified from St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine, completed specialist training at St Bartholomew’s and undertook MRC-funded research on pituitary tumourigenesis leading to a PhD and high-impact publications.

Clinical interests: Pituitary and adrenal disorders, thyroid disease, reproductive and metabolic endocrinology and integrated bariatric-medicine pathways with metabolic risk reduction.

Service & systems: Runs protocolised clinics with imaging-integrated assessment, multidisciplinary decision-making and structured follow-up for complex endocrine disease and weight-related comorbidity.

Teaching & outreach: Regular educator across Imperial and independent centres with patient-facing resources on endocrine diagnostics and long-term care.
