Professor Shern L. Chew MA MB BChir FRCP is a Consultant Endocrinologist whose practice encompasses pituitary, adrenal and familial endocrine disease, with longstanding academic leadership in endocrine medicine.

Education & training: Studied medicine at the University of Cambridge, completed postgraduate training at St Bartholomew’s Hospital with further training in Europe and the USA, and previously held a Chair in Endocrine Medicine at Barts and The London School of Medicine.

Clinical interests: Pituitary tumours, adrenal disorders, calcium and parathyroid disease, inherited endocrine tumour syndromes and complex multi-gland disease.

Research, teaching & leadership: Author of research papers, textbook chapters and textbooks in endocrinology and diabetes, and senior educator within UK endocrine networks.

Service & systems: Provides MDT-integrated endocrine pathways, advanced imaging and dynamic testing with clear communication of risks, options and outcomes.
