Dr Saira Hameed MA MB BChir PhD FRCP is a Consultant Endocrinologist specialising in obesity and Type 2 diabetes, known for developing the Imperial-SatPro Programme and for authoring the Sunday Times bestseller “The Full Diet.”

Education & training: Read medicine at Oxford and UCL and completed a PhD at Imperial College London on the neurobiology of weight and appetite regulation, followed by Consultant posts at Imperial College Healthcare.

Clinical interests: Comprehensive weight-management, metabolic health, Type 2 diabetes remission strategies and post-bariatric medical care within multidisciplinary services.

Research, teaching & outreach: Leads translational work on appetite biology and weight management, widely engaged in public education and clinician training on evidence-based obesity care.
