Dr Ling Ling Chuah MBChB MSc MD MRCP is a Consultant in Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine with clinics across King's and the independent sector, providing weight-management, endocrine and peri-operative diabetes care.

Education & training: Graduated MBChB from the University of Aberdeen (2001), completed specialty training in Glasgow and London, gained an MSc in Diabetes and Endocrinology from King's College London (2009) and was awarded an MD at Imperial College London for research in obesity and bariatric surgery pathways.

Clinical interests: Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, peri-operative diabetes care for bariatric surgery, thyroid, adrenal and pituitary disorders, PCOS and male metabolic health, and general internal medicine.

Research, teaching & leadership: Research on progression of microvascular complications following bariatric surgery and peri-operative optimisation, with ongoing education for referrers and patient groups.

Service & systems: Runs structured, protocolised clinics integrating lifestyle, pharmacotherapy and technology with clear safety-netting and outcomes tracking.
