Mr Jonathan Clarke BSc MD FRCOphth is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Moorfields Eye Hospital and The London Clinic Eye Centre, with a subspecialist focus on cataract and glaucoma.

Education & training: Graduated from Charing Cross & Westminster Medical School (1996) and completed an MD at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology (2010) on wound-healing responses after glaucoma surgery.

Clinical interests: Contemporary cataract surgery including premium and toric IOLs, and comprehensive glaucoma care ranging from SLT and MIGS to trabeculectomy and drainage-device procedures.

Research & leadership: Principal Investigator on multiple glaucoma clinical trials with service leadership at Moorfields (including Joint Divisional Director posts) and advisory roles on driving and visual-disorder standards.

Service & systems: Runs patient-centred pathways with detailed informed-choice discussions, technology-enabled outcomes tracking and robust complication governance.
