Professor The Lord Darzi of Denham OM KBE PC FRS is Paul Hamlyn Chair of Surgery at Imperial College London, Director of the Institute of Global Health Innovation and an Honorary Consultant Surgeon at Imperial College Healthcare, with a clinical and academic focus on minimally invasive and robot-assisted surgery and patient-safety innovation.

Education & training: Medical training in Ireland followed by early consultant and professorial appointments in London, progressing to senior leadership in surgical academia and innovation at Imperial College.
