Professor Márta Korbonits MD PhD DSc FRCP is Professor of Endocrinology and Metabolism, Centre Lead for Endocrinology and Deputy Director of the William Harvey Research Institute, and an Honorary Consultant at Barts Health.

Research focus: Genetics and tumour biology of pituitary disease including AIP-related familial isolated pituitary adenomas, translational ghrelin biology and AMPK signalling in metabolism.

Leadership & honours: President of the Society for Endocrinology and recipient of multiple international awards recognising contributions to neuroendocrinology and endocrine genetics.
